What is gwei?

Gwei is one billionth (10⁻⁹) of a chain's native gas token. On Ethereum, 1 gwei = 0.000000001 ETH; on other EVM chains it refers to their own token (BNB, MON, POL…). That's why this dashboard compares costs in USD, not in gwei.

Why are gas fees high sometimes?

An RPC endpoint is the server your wallet uses to talk to a blockchain — send transactions, read balances, estimate gas.
